The ventilation and cooling management of chicken coops plays a very important role to the owners. When the temperature of the chicken coop exceeds 30°C, the chickens will start heat stress symptoms, including decreased egg production rate, increased death rate, which affects yield and quality. Moreover, as temperature rises, the level of harmful gases such as ammonia and carbon dioxide will be increase by the interaction of microorganisms and chicken manure. These gases harm the staff in the chicken house. In this case, the breeder must carefully control the tempterature and ventilation of chicken coops.

Mr. Li, a chicken farm owner in Tainan, had the problem of poor ventilation in the chicken coop, which affected the egg production. He asked for our ventilation design that fits his chicken farm. After on-site investigations and ventilation design planning, we suggested Mr. Li to adopt positive pressure circulation fans as the ventilation solution for his chicken coops. Besides solving the heat problem, it also improves the air quality and ambient temperature control in the chicken coops.

After installation:
After adopting our ventilation solution, the chicken coops ventilation problem was completely solved, and the temperature can be maintained between 22°C and 25°C. The consequence of the adoption is eggs quality and production remain stably high.
