The Sihu Township Office held a donation ceremony entitled “EasyFong Ventilation Shares Its Care by Donating Air Coolers to Sihu Township Office” on March 27, 2024.

Sihu Township Mayor Wu Chin-Wei expressed his sincere appreciation to EasyFong Ventilation Co., Ltd. for donating 16 air coolers to the township office. During the ceremony, Mayor Wu presented a certificate of appreciation to the company in recognition of its generous contribution and commitment to public welfare.

The donated equipment will help elderly residents and disadvantaged members of the community stay comfortable and cool during the hot summer months.

Mayor Wu also thanked Mr. Cheng Hui-Jen, General Manager of EasyFong Ventilation Co., Ltd., and Ms. Claire Huang, Vice General Manager, for attending the ceremony. He commended the company for fulfilling its corporate social responsibility and expressed the hope that its charitable efforts would inspire more businesses and individuals to contribute to the community.

General Manager Cheng explained that Sihu Township Office had published a public tender for air coolers on March 5, 2024. In the spirit of giving back to the local community, EasyFong Ventilation immediately contacted the township office and offered to donate 16 air coolers for the benefit of local residents.

The donated air coolers will be installed at senior dining halls and community care centers throughout Sihu Township, helping to create a cooler and more comfortable environment for elderly and disadvantaged residents.

Mayor Wu noted that Sihu Township is actively promoting community meal services. Although nine senior dining halls are currently operating in the township, several villages remain unable to provide meal services because of various limitations.

The township office is therefore developing a central kitchen and plans to establish additional community meal service locations throughout Sihu Township.

Mayor Wu expressed the hope that the donation ceremony would encourage further charitable support. He also looked forward to future opportunities for EasyFong Ventilation to assist local community care centers in improving their ventilation and cooling facilities, providing elderly residents with a comfortable dining environment and helping to spread care and compassion throughout the community.
